Frequently Asked Questions
What shots do you require?
In order to maintain a healthy environment, we require all dogs boarding with us to be vaccinated against rabies, parvo, and adenovirus. Dogs three and older must have had a vaccination within the past two and a half years. Those between four months and three years have to have a minimum of one vaccine.
Do you require the Bordetella vaccine?
The Bordetella vaccine prevents what is known as kennel cough. Kennel cough has similar symptoms as the cold does in humans. It is spread in close quarters, making dogs in boarding environments particularly susceptible. As a result, we require the Bordetella vaccine from all dogs boarding with us.
